Thank you for your interest in Western Maine Aviation. We are here to serve the aviation public and hope you will join us. In our maintenance hangar, we intend to give you the finest work and service possible. If you’re bringing in an aircraft from a distance, we will have one of our instructors’ bring you back to your base.
On the flight line, we have two full time instructors capable of training Airplane Single Engine Land and Sea Operations and two part time instructors for land operations. We also have a designated Pilot Examiner on staff so your check ride will be scheduled as soon as your instructor signs you off.

- Mary found her passion in life when her children were 5 and 10 years of age respectively, and it wasn't until Lisa, the youngest was in college that she finally had an opportunity to learn how to fly. That was back in 1991 and she has been flying for business and pleasure ever since. Read More
- Flight School
- The Flight Instruction at this airport is well organized and professional with 2 full time instructors on staff. There is also a Designated Examiner on the staff to give the check rides as soon as you’re ready. Ground schools run year round at the local Crooked River Adult and Community Education.
